Biography
Dr. Soliman is an IEEE Senior member and an Associate Professor in the area of wireless communications and signal processing at the Electrical Engineering department, Port Said university.
She is the Executive manager of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and sustainable environment unit of Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. She is the Vice Executive manager of Quality and Accreditation Unit of Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University.
She is Responsible for the Wireless Antennas Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University.
She is a professional member of the International Council for Small Business ICSB. She is an ambassador of Scientific Research Group in Egypt (SRGE) and IEEE Region Entrepreneurship Initiative. She is one of Scival, Elsevier champions in Port Said University.
She has also a special interest in the methodologies, quality, and accreditation standards of electrical engineering education.
Her Continuous learning and training interests are in the filed of Smart cities technologies and Smart cities management. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence AI applications in wireless channel modelling, antenna design and analysis and intelligent transportation systems.
She has several research papers in peer reviewed international journals with ISI impact factor, and has participated in some national and international conferences. She has been teaching electromagnetics, microwave engineering, antennas theory and applications, electromagnetic wave propagation and digital communication systems for ten years. Working as a supervisor for many MSc and PhD students.
Trained in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Sustainable Smart Cities Research Centre in designing Smart Poles.
She is a referee in ELSEVIER, Computer Standards and Interfaces Journal, WILEY, International journal of communication systems and IEEE Access.
