Biography
Nalan Özkurt received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Dokuz Eylul University, in 1994, 1998 and 2004, respectively. She worked at Department of Electrical Engineering Dokuz Eylul University as a research assistant in 1995–2004 and as an Assistant Professor in 2004-2011. She has been working at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Yasar University as an Assistant Professor since 2011. Her research interests are signal and image processing, wavelets and time-frequency transforms and meachine learning. She is a member of Association of Electrical and Electronic Engineers of Turkey and IEEE.
