Biography
Dr. Pushpendra Singh is Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. He did his Master of Technology and Doctorate from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur. With over Nineteen years of teaching, research, and administrative experience, he has held various administrative positions in the capacity of Principal, Head of Department. Before joining JKLU, Jaipur he was associated with Sunrise Group of Institutions, Udaipur for one Year and before that he served JECRC Jaipur for Ten years.
In his 19 years teaching, administrative and research duration he has published 98 research papers including high repute international journals, international conferences and media articles. 13 patent grant, 7 patent published, 5 copyright granted and 14 media articles (including Times of India, Financial Express etc) in his account. Under his guidance two candidates have awarded PhD degree and two more submitted the thesis. He also has experience of organizing short term training programs, symposium and workshops. He is Fellow-IE(India) & Charted Engineer, Senior Member – IEEE, Senior Member-IIIE, Member-IAENG, Member-IDIDAC. He is editorial member and advisory board member of quite a few international journals. He is reviewer of some of the reputed international journals. His research area includes Smart grid, power system restructuring, power quality, integration of DERs, demand side management, electric vehicle technologies, power system stability etc.
