Biography I received my BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran , Iran in 1988 and 1991 respectively, and my PhD from Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK in 1998. I was a visiting professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada during 2005-2006 academic year. My research interests include: Supervisory Control of Discrete-Event Systems, Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Neurofuzzy Systems, Genetic Algorithms, and Electrical Power Systems Control Applications. Currently, I'm an associate professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Abbaspour University of Technology.
