Ikhwan Naim Md Nawi is a an academician at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He is also a research fellow at the Photonics Research Center, UiTM. At present he is pursuing a Ph.D in Photonics at the Institute of Advanced Photonics Science, Nanotechnology Research Alliance, UTM, Malaysia. His research interests are in single-photon switching, nanophotonics, nonlinear optics, microring resonators, whisphering gallery mode, optical biosensors, laser micro welding and laser materials processing.
