I achieved Master and PhD degree from Graduate School, Department of Electronic Engineering, Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, Korea respectively.
My main research Interests are ICI minimization, PAPR Reduction, OFDM, DFT-SOFDM, CDMA, 3GPP, TDS-CDMA, WiMAX, Wibro, 4th Generation Mobile Communication, Digital Signal Processing and Communication Circuit Design. By now, I have published 4 SCI papers, 7 EI conference papers, 8 Korean domestic Journals papers, 2 Korean domestic conference papers. I have ever participated 6 projects requested from the ETRI (Electronic and telecommunication research institute) Korea. One main research topic was the ICI (inter-sub-carrier-interference) analysis and minimization, especially ICI minimization caused by frequency offset and phase noise of transceiver. The other main research topic was PAPR reduction in the variable multi-carrier system. In detail, I emphasized on the ICI, SCI minimization and PAPR reduction in the current 3G, 4G 3GPP, 3GPP2, HSDPA, WiMAX etc communication standards.
