Biography Petr Pata is recently an Associated Professor ta Faculty of Electrical Engineering Czech Technical University in Prague (FEE CTU in Prague). His work is focused to image photonics and image processing algorithms related to astronomy. He is a member of the BOOTES (Burst Observer and Optical Transient Exploring System) Czech – Spanish project. He had been member of the Czech team for the ESA INTEGRAL satellite. He is leader of MAIA (Meteor Automatic Imager and Analyser) project. He is author or coauthor more than 150 papers. He is a member of Czech and Slovak Society for Photonics and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
