Biography
Juan Hernández Serrano was born in Salamanca (Spain) in 1979. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering emphasis in Telecommunication in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in 2008, both from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). In 2002 he joined the Information Security Group (ISG) within the Telematics Services Research Group (SERTEL) at the Department of Telematics Engineering of the UPC. He currently works as assistant professor at the Castelldefels School of Technology (EPSC) in the UPC. His research interests include security for large deployment of sensor networks and autonomous cognitive networks.
