Biography Dr. Po-Chyi Su was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1973. He received the B.S. degree from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1995 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 1998 and 2003, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. He then joined Industrial Technology Research Institute, HsinChu, Taiwan, as an engineer. Since August 2004, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Central University, Taiwan, where he is an Assistant Professor. His research interests include multimedia security, visual surveillance, digital image/video processing and compression.
