Timos Papadopoulos received his Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 1996 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, University of Southampton, UK, in 2000 and 2006, respectively. His Ph.D. research involved the design and experimental evaluation of multichannel inverse filters for virtual acoustic imaging systems, including recursive filters realized in forward and backward time. In the period 2005-2009 he worked as a research fellow at the ISVR on the topic of the acoustics modelling of mammalian echolocation. He is currently a visiting researcher at the ISVR and a researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Cyprus working on problems of algorithmic modelling of time-series parameter estimation.
