Dr. Belli is currently a professor of software engineering at a major German university and a consultant working closely with several German and European companies, overseeing more than 30 years of experience in software development, quality assur¬ance and testing. He started as a programmer in the aircraft in¬dustry and wrote programs to develop simulation environ¬ments and to validate safety critical features. He was senior scien¬tist with German National Research Center for Informa¬tion Tech¬nology (GMD), and systems engineer with a large German computer manufacturer in Mu¬nich, where he headed several projects, de¬veloping real-time in¬for¬mation systems. He has written and ed¬ited 20 books and more than 150 papers on software testing, software reliability, and software fault tolerance, all published in renowned techni-cal/scientific journals and pro¬ceedings of national and interna-tional confer¬ences.
