Biography
MIHAIL VOICU is Doctor Engineer in Automatic Control, Master of Science in Mathematics, and currently is professor of Systems Theory at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science, Technical University of Iasi, Romania. Since 2006, he is corresponding member of the Romanian Academy. His scientific interest covers the following areas: analysis and synthesis of automatic control systems, industrial control systems and automation, and electrical power control systems. The scientific main results obtained in the last 30 years may be characterised by the following keywords: flow invariance, componentwise asymptotic stability, invariant exponential stability, generalised diagonal stability, componentwise stabilisation, componentwise detection. He published over 171 scientific papers, 10 patents, 31 monographs and book chapters, 12 textbooks, and 108 research reports.
