Dr. Engineer, Associate Professor of the Micro and Nano Tech. Group at the Electronics Engineering Department of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (U.P.C)
The main research areas of work, where he has been involved are: Solar Cells
(simulation, design, characterisation and fabrication), Photovoltaic systems (simulation, modelling, monitoring and design of automatic fault detection for PV systems), Grid connected PV systems (simulation and modelling).
As result of his research activities he has 20 papers published in different international journals, 3 books/book chapters and more than 50 communications to International Conferences. He is member of the International Solar energy Society (ISES), Senior Member of the IEEE from 2006 and Associate Editor of the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Engineering Journal of the ASME.
