Martine Lienard received the M.S and Ph.D. degrees
from the University of Lille, Lille, France, in
1988 and 1993, respectively.
In 1990, she joined the Telecommunications,
Interference and Electromagnetic Compatibility
(TELICE) Group, Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics
and Nanotechnology, University of Lille,
where she is currently a Professor and the Head of
TELICE group. She is involved in the research of
new wireless localization techniques in indoor environment.
Her current research interests include the
theoretical and experimental prediction of propagation characteristics in confined
areas, as in tunnels, and the optimization and performances of modulation
and diversity schemes, such as multiple-input multiple-output and orthogonal
frequency division multiplexing techniques, for wireless local area network and
power line communications.
