Quoc-Tuan Vien received the B.Sc. degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, in 2005; the M.Sc. degree from Kyung Hee University, Suwon, Korea, in 2009; and the Ph.D. degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, U.K., in 2012, all in radio engineering. From 2005 to 2007, he was with Fujikura Fiber Optics Vietnam Company, Binh Duong, Vietnam, as a Production-System Engineer. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant with the School of Engineering and Built Environment, Glasgow Caledonian University. In Spring 2013, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant with the School of Science and Technology, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, U.K. He is currently a Lecturer in Computing and Communications Engineering with the School of Science and Technology, Middlesex University, London, U.K. His research interests include multiple-input-multiple-output systems and techniques, relay networks, cognitive radio networks, mesh networks, network coding, and cross-layer optimisation. Dr. Vien is currently a Member of the IEEE and the IET.
