Marco Baldi received the Laurea in Electronic Engineering (summa cum laude) in 2003 and the Research Doctorate in Electronics, Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering in 2006, with a dissertation entitled "Quasi-Cyclic Low-Density Parity-Check Codes and their Application to Cryptography", from the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
Since 2007 he has been a Post-Doctoral researcher and contract Professor within the Università Politecnica delle Marche, where he is now an Assistant Professor.
He is co-author of more than seventy papers in international journals, books and conference proceedings. He is member of AEIT and IEEE.
The research activity of Marco Baldi is focused on coding for transmission reliability, security and cryptography, with particular interest in linear block codes for symmetric and asymmetric channels, LDPC codes and their applications in cryptography and communications security.
