Kristian Nybom received his M.Sc. Eng. degree in Embedded Systems and D.Sc. (Technology) in 2005 and 2009, respectively, from Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. He is currently postdoctoral researcher at the same university. His research interests include DVB systems, forward error correction codes, and multimedia streaming. He has been involved in several European projects, aiming at contributing to and verifying DVB standards.
