Biography
Dr. Nafaa Nacereddine received Engineer degree in electrical engineering, from the National Polytechnic School of Algiers (ENP), in 1992, the MS degree in Automation and Signal Processing from University of Boumerdes, Algeria, in 2004 and the doctorate diploma from ENP in 2011. From 1994 until today, he was a researcher in the Signal and Image Processing Laboratory of Research Center in Welding and NDT in Algiers, where he heads in 2004 until today, a research team on Pattern Recognition applied to Industrial Radiography Imaging. During the same period, he was also a lecturer with several universities. His research interests include industrial radiography, NDT, image processing and analysis, computer vision, content-based image retrieval, and pattern recognition. He has several international scientific publications related to image processing and analysis, computer-aided diagnostic in industrial radiography imaging. In 2002, he has participated to the workshop on NDT Training Level 3 organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency held in Johannesburg, South of Africa about the development of NDT teaching and examination programs for level III candidates.
