Vlatko Lipovac was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina, in 1956. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 1979, 1984 and 1989, respectively.
His work encompasses telecom industry and education. For years, he has been acting as a technical consultant for telecom and datacom test systems to Hewlett-Packard‘s and Agilent Technologies’ organizations in Central/Eastern Europe and Middle East.
He has been teaching microwave transmission systems at the University of Sarajevo and datacommunications at the University of Dubrovnik, Croatia. During his temporary work at the Technical University Vienna, he was involved in COST-231 European Land Mobile Radio Evolution research projects.
Dr. Lipovac is a member of IEEE from 1994 on.
