Biography
Zamberi Jamaludin received the B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the Lakehead University, Ontario, Canada in 1997, M.Eng. Degree in Manufacturing Systems from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2001 and graduated with a PhD degree in Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium in 2008. His PhD thesis was centred on the development of robust control algorithm for disturbance compensation on direct drive driven high speed milling machine. He began his career as a Vocational Training Officer with Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTi), Ministry of Human Resources in 1997 before joining UTeM (KUTKM) in 2002. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and a Head of Department since 2009 at the Department of Robotics and Automation, Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Melaka. His fields of interest include design of control systems, motion control, mechatronics, and robotics. Among his accomplishments are that he received two bronze medals, at the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2010) Seoul Korea, and the Geneva International Invention Fair 2011. In addition, he has also been awarded two silver medals at Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2011 and at International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2010.
