Biography Marta Beltrán received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering, the Master of Advanced Studies degree in communications technologies, systems and networks, and the Ph.D. degree from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Valencia, Spain, in 2006, 2007, and 2012, respectively. Since 2004, she has been a Research Engineer with the Valencia Nanophotonics Technology Center, UPV. She has participated in several national and European research projects, including the FP7-ICT UCELLS, FIVER, and EURO-FOS. She has authored more than 20 papers in leading international journals and conferences. Her research interests include optical transmission links, hybrid optical-wireless access networks, and pulsed laser sources.
