Biography Dr. Joan Olmos received the MSc. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain, in 1983 and 1987 respectively. Since then his research field has been digital radio communications, including fixed radio links and mobile communications. He has published many papers on this fields and participated in several projects in the European research framework. Currently he belongs to WiComTec group (UPC), where he is researching on 4G mobile communications.
