Biography
Received her Electronics Engineering degree (2005) from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, followed by a MSc. In Communications Engineering (2008) from the Technische Universität München (TUM) in Munich, Germany. She has gained industrial experience in Colombian and German companies, in the oil business and mobile communications sector, including her Master thesis with Siemens AG on the topic of Networked Control Systems. Within her work for Nomor Research, she was part of a project under the supervision of European Space Agency (ESA), studying the performance of DVB-SH using new video coding techniques. In February 2010 she joined the Wireless and Satellite Communications research group in the UAB.
