Biography Dr.Tarek Elarabi received his BS degree in computer engineering from the AASTT, in 2009. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in the field of computer engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in 2011 and 2012, respectively. During his stay at ULL, he has been working as a lecturer, graduate advisor and researcher at the VLSI/ Video Research Lab at the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS). His research interests include Digital Video Processing with particular interest in Video Compression algorithms and architectures and Heterogeneous Video Transcoding for real-time applications and devices.
