EDUCATION
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering, December 2011
University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS)
Research Area:
The ultimate vision is to build systems, capable of autonomically identifying important changes in wireless network operating conditions and then coordinate all the necessary changes (e.g., protocol-level parameters values, load balancing, power control, channel assignment, transmission rates, etc.) at every layer of the networking protocol stack in order to meet system performance goals. Learned technical skills in:
- Analyzing network performance measurement and statistics
- Studying networks’ performance analysis trends
- Enhancing network performance through identifying potential problems
• Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering, May 2007
ULL, CACS
Research Area:
Power leakage reduction techniques in moderate performance CMOS circuits that require ultra-low energy dissipation.
• Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering, August 2002
Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), College of Engineering and Technology, Alexandria, Egypt
Research Area:
Building neural network macro models for static CMOS digital circuits simulations. A new macro modeling technique has been developed with improved accuracy for general-purpose static CMOS digital circuit simulations using neural networks.
