Carlos García-Martínez received the M.Sc. and
Ph.D. degrees in computer sciences from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 2003 and 2008, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor with the
Department of Computing and Numerical Analysis,
University of Córdoba, Córdoba, Spain. His current research interests include mainly the analysis of
search methods for optimization problems. Among
his publications, it is worth mentioning his studies on evolutionary algorithms, ant colony optimization, and hybrid metaheuristics.
Dr. García-Martínez regularly acts as a reviewer for remarkable international journals and conferences.
