Rafik Djemili was born in Annaba (Algeria) in 1969, he received the engineering, the Magister and the Doctorat degrees, respectively, in 1993, 2001and 2006, both from Badji Mokhtar Annaba University, Algeria. In 2001, he joined the Automatic and Signals Laboratory of Annaba, where he worked on Arabic speech and speaker recognition, clustering algorithms and neural networks. He has been an assistant professor at Djelfa University, Algeria since December 2002, and he is a professor in electronics department in Skikda University since October 2006.
