H. Lim received his B.S degree in Electronics Engineering from Korea Aerospace University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1999 and the M.S and Ph. D degrees in Information and Communications at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. From Mar. 2006, he has joined as a senior researcher in the Division of Supercomputing at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). He is currently a research scholar at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, CA USA. He has published more than 40 refereed papers in archival journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include optical networks, virtual networks and user driven virtual circuit networks. He was a recipient of Excellence Paper Award for a paper presented at APIC-IST 2008. He had served an associate editor of Journal of Internet Computing and Services from 2007 to 2012. He is a Member of IEEE and IEICE.
