Sherif A. Elgamel received the B.Eng. (Excellent) and M.Sc. degrees in electronic engineering from the Military Technical College (MTC), Cairo, Egypt, in 1995 and 2001, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. After graduating, he joined the MTC as an Instructor with the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Department, then as a Teacher Assistant with Radar and Guidance group until 2002. His research interests include tracking radar algorithms, modern radar systems design and analysis, small target tracking, and signal processing algorithms and applications.
