Dr. Theodoros Tsiftsis was born in Lamia, Greece, in November 1970. He received the degree in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1993, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, U.K., in 1995. Also, he received the M.Sc. degree in Decision Sciences from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2006. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia in February 2010. He is also an affiliate academic with the Wireless Communications Systems Group (WCSG), Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Dr. Tsiftsis serves as a National Expert for Greece in the HORIZON 2020 Information and Communication Technologies theme (2014-2020).
