Dr. Jacques DEMERJIAN is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the Antonine University in Lebanon.
He works since 2005 as Computing & Network Security Engineer. From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a Computing & Network senior security expert at CS (Communication & Systems) - France. From 2006 to 2007, he was at ALTRAN Telecom & Media - France. In 2005, he was at France Telecom Research & Development. From 2001 to 2004, he was at Telecom ParisTech - France. Between 1998 and 2001 he worked as Software development Engineer at Techno Soft (4 years).
In 2004 he had a PhD in Computer Science from Telecom ParisTech (ENST-Paris). He is qualified to the functions of Assistant Professor by the sections of National Universities’ Council (French qualification on lecturer in Computer Science). He is involved in many conference technical committees in the world. He is co-author of more than 30 scientific papers in IETF, journals and international conferences in the fields of Networking, Mobility and Security. He is largely involved in IEEE France Section activities.
Jacques DEMERJIAN is member of many organizations / associations as : EDITE-Paris Council (Doctoral School of Computing, Telecommunications and Electronic) - Board of directors of the IEEE organization, French section - Board of directors of Telecom ParisTech Alumni Association - Board of directors of PhDGroup - Antonine Faculty of Engineering Council - ACM.
His main research interests include computer, network and information security, especially in the following fields:
1- Authentication, authorization and access control based on certificates.
2- Public Key Infrastructure.
3- Privilege Management Infrastructure : Attribute certificate, proxy certificate, etc.
