Biography Maurizio Bocca obtained his BSc and MSc in Computer Science Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. From October 2005 to December 2009, he was a doctoral student with the Department of Automation and Systems Technology at the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. Since 2010, he has been with the Aalto University School of Science and Technology, Department of Automation and Systems Technology, Helsinki, Finland, where he pursues the doctoral degree. His research concerns the development of hardware and software in wireless sensor networks for homeland security and structural health monitoring, information processing methods in wireless sensor networks and the implementation of wireless networked control systems.
