Biography received the B.S. degree in radio communication engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 1977, the M.S degrees in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He also received another MS degree in avionics engineering from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, U.S.A in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming, U.S.A in 1999. Since 2000, he has been with the Electronics & Communications Research Institute (ETRI) in Korea, where he is presently a team leader of WPAN Application Research Team. His research interests include WPAN system, wireless home network, and smart grid.
