Biography
Z. C. Ioannidis was born in Didymoteicho, Greece, in 1981. He received the B.S. degree in Physics, in 2002, the M.S. degree in Electronics and Radio Engineering, in 2004, as well as the Ph.D. degree in Physical Sciences, in 2008, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece.In 2002 he joined the Microwave and Optics Applications Group of the Physics Faculty at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as a Research Assistant. During 2008-09 he was occupied with National Service. Since 2009 he is a postdoctoral Research Associate in the Physics Faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Electronics Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus. His research interests include microwave theory and techniques, transmission lines, high-power microwave generation and plasmonics.
Dr. Ioannidis is a member of the Hellenic Physical Society.
