Biography
George Vardoulias, holds a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (1997), and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (2000). He has worked as a systems engineer for Motorola, Semiconductor Product Sector Ltd. U.K., as a radio engineer for Vodafone Greece, as a lecturer in the Hellenic Naval Academy and as a senior Electromagnetics Geophysicist in Rocksource ASA, Norway. He has also participated as a researcher in several EU projects. His research interests include the network aspects of software-defined radio technology and spread spectrum synchronization techniques. He currently works on Controlled Source Electromagnetics (CSEM) techniques.
