Biography Heba Ali El-Khobby (Member, IEEE): received the MSc and Ph.D. degrees, both in electrical Engineering (Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering), from Tanta University, Egypt, in 2003, 2009, respectively. Her research interests in the areas of distributed computing, task allocation and scheduling, congestion control, QoS, and multimedia networking. Lately her research focus is on resource management and scheduling in the area of cloud computing (keywords: peer-to-peer systems, scheduling, design and performance evaluation, workload characterization).
