Andrea Zanobini received the M.S degree in electronic engineering from the University of Florence (Italy) in 1989. He joined S.M.I. Europa Metalli in 1990, where he worked in the Quality Control and Assurance Group. Since 1991, he has been with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Faculty of Engineering - University of Florence, where he teaches on Electrical Measurements, Statistical Methods, Probability and Statistics for Engineers. His current research interests include different fields as: robot sensors, software in measurements, statistics and reliability analysis for electronic devices and systems, uncertainty evaluation in measurements and processes. He has authored and coauthored more than one hundred technical papers in his current research interests. He is also:
- IEEE member and reviewer for IEEE Transaction on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Transaction on Circuits and Systems, Measurements;
- Member of the Italian Association Electrical and Electronic Measurement Group;
- Responsible of a two years - local research project on: Uncertainty analysis and measurement evaluation in non-linear models adopting standard techniques and Bayesian inference methods.
