Biography
Ammar M. Abu-Hudrouss was born on 19/12/1977, from a refugee family (originally from Jaffa). He received the B.Sc. degree from Islamic University Gaza, Palestine in 2000 where he was the best student in the class (with GPA 93%).
He received the MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2003 and PhD in Microwave Engineering in 2007; both from Birmingham University, Birmingham, UK. He has achieved the best grade in the Master class. His research during the PhD was to design and develop single and multiple band filters using High Temperature Superconducting materials (HTS).
He is currently an assistant professor at Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine. His current research interests are detection algorithms for MIMO systems and space-time codes.
