Biography
Mousa S. Mohsen is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, currently he is the Dean of the School of Engineering and director of RAK Research and Innovation Center at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, he obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan, USA in 1991, and MS and BS degrees from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1983 and 1982, respectively.
His research interests are energy systems, renewable energy, water treatment and desalination, integration of energy and water systems, environment, higher education related issues, innovation and decision making. In his research, Prof. Mohsen focuses on both the theoretical aspects and practical issues of the problems and he is interested in participating in interdisciplinary projects. His published work exceeds eighty journal papers, and he was an invited speaker in different international conferences and workshops.
