Dr. Alomari is an assistant professor at the department of computer information systems, King Abdullah II school for information technology,
The University of Jordan. He gained his PhD in Computer science and Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo, NY in 2010. He gained both his BSc
and MSc in computer science from the University of Jordan in 2002 and 2004, respectively.
Dr. Alomari has been working in biomedical imaging area including solving various medical imaging challenges from various medical imaging
modalities and building Computer aided diagnosis systems. Currently he is working on development of a computer aided diagnosis system for lower
back from clinical MRI. He is also actively working on fields of machine learning, Artificial intelligence, Computational intelligence, image security, watermarking, and Steganography.
