Biography
Dr. Lina Montuori is lecturer at the Applied Thermodynamics Department of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. She received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), as well as a Master degree in Business Administration from the same Institution. Previously, she obtained the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees ‘cum laude’ in Industrial and Energy Engineering from the University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy). She has worked as energy analyst at the Power Centre for Utility Explorations of the University at Buffalo (USA). Moreover, she has about 10 years of experience as Development Manager, leading successful projects, at the companies Enel Rete Gas in Milan (Italy) and Solaer Group in Valencia. Currently, she combines the position of lecturer with her work at the Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Corporation (TMEIC). She is also a researcher at the Institute for Energy Engineering of Valencia (IIE), with her interests focused on natural gas systems, renewable energies, energy management systems, smart grids and microgrids. On these topics, she is author of multiple relevant publications in international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. On the other hand, she is a member of the Editorial Board of different international journals.
