Biography J a w d a t G o u s s o u s A r c h i t e c t P e r s o n a l D a t a Jawdat Salem Goussous, Ph. D. Architecture An architect interested in research related to the architectural and Environmental resources, especially the conservation of the architectural heritage of recent periods. Holding a PhD. in architecture (1990) from Kiev engineering institute, and diploma of architecture (1987) from Kharkov engineering institute, USSR. Dr Goussous is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in 1991 from Kiev engineering institute, and diploma of architecture in 1987 from Kharkov engineering institute, USSR. During his graduate study he obtained for teaching several undergraduate courses. He has extensive academic, consultancy and administrative experience serving as the Head of Architecture Department, University of Jordan for several years and participating in several specialized committees for Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and Ministry of Public Works and Housing among others. He published a number of papers in his research areas of interest which include heritage tourism, cultural resources management, cultural anthropology, and ethnology Dr Goussous held the position of research architect at Artex Company and represent them in Jordan and the Middle East. I also held a teaching position of architectural faculty, Kiev engineering institute. In addition to architectural and Environmental conservation, I am also interested in heritage tourism, cultural and Environmental resources management, cultural anthropology, and ethnology, teaching assistant at architectural faculty, Kiev engineering institute, USSR 1987-1991.
