Biography
Dr.-Ing. Saleh Hussin completed his undergraduate studies and received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Zagazig University, Egypt in 2002. After militarily service, he joined Faculty of Engineering, Zagazig University, and worked as a research and teaching assistant at Electronics and Communication Engineering department from March 2004 to December 2007.
Since Jan. 2008, He has awarded the Egyptian Higher Education Ministry scholarship to complete his M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in Germany. He received his M.Sc. degree on June 2010 from TU Ilmenau, Germany, in the area of cognitive radio networks. Afterwards, Dr.-Ing. Hussin joined the Optical Communication and High-Frequency Engineering at Paderborn University, Germany, where he received his Dr.-Ing. (PhD) in Electrical Engineering on July 2015 with a thesis entitled ” Investigation on High Spectral Efficiency Coherent Optical OFDM Transmission Systems”.
From Feb. 2013, He worked in dSPACE GmbH, Paderborn, Germany, as a part time software developer for developing and testing software simulation for different dSPACE products until June 2014.
Dr.-Ing. Hussin has about one and half years professional experience as hardware and software developer for dSPACE GmbH in Paderborn, Germany. Dr.-Ing. Hussin is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zagazig University.Since Feb. 2018, He is an adjunct assistant professor in electronics and communication engineering department, at Misr International University (MIU). Recently, He is an adjunct assistant professor in electrical and communication engineering, at the British University in Egypt (BUE),
He is a member of the IEEE and reviewer for IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, Journal of Optical Communications and Networking, SPIE Optical Engineering Journal and Elsevier Optics Communications. In July 2017, Dr.-Ing. Hussin has been selected to be a technical committee member for Egypt IoT challenge.
