Biography
Rakan Khalil Antar received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Mosul University, Mosul, Iraq, in 2002. The M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in power electronics from Mosul University, Mosul, Iraq, in 2005 and 2013, respectively. He then worked in the field of power quality improvement for power converter circuits. He has served, since his graduation, in the Technical Engineering College/Mosul, Northern Technical University. He is currently an Assist. Prof. in the Electrical Power Engineering Technologies Department, Northern Technical University. His teaching and research interests are in control of electrical machines, power electronics, intelligent control techniques, renewable engineering, power quality, smart grid.
