Biography |
I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Florida Polytechnic University.
My research interests span a variety of topics and applications ranging from Cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Digital Forensics, Cloud Security, Ad-hoc sensor networks, Distributed computing, and Vehicular Networks and Autonomous Vehicles. Some highlights:
◾I work with other faculty, students, and the industry partners to develop novel solutions to the cyber security problems related to Internet, IoT devices, cloud and Autonomous Vehicles (AV)
◾I am working on a CyberFlorida Grant for our research project on Digital Forensics.
At Florida Poly, I've been teaching various levels of computer science courses and actively working on course and curriculum development. I also served on the department's ABET process. Please visit my Teaching and Service pages for more information.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). I was honored with a life membership of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, honor society of the computing and information disciplines, in 2010. I served as the Global Outreach Ambassador for NDSU. I received an Academic Achievement Award and a Green and Golden Globe Award at NDSU.
I am a senior member of IEEE and ACM. I am also a member of IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Women in Engineering.
