Biography Malik is an assistant professor of Software Engineering and the deputy dean of the College of Science and Computer Engineering, Taibah University, Yanbu. He received a BSc degree in Computer Science from Taif University, KSA, in 2008 and an MSc degree in Advanced Software Engineering from Leicester University, UK, in 2011. He also received a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering from Bournemouth University, UK, in 2015. In addition to his current administration and teaching roles, his research is focused on the engineering of social informatics, i.e., the systematic design of software-based solutions taking into consideration their interactions with related institutional and cultural contexts.
