Biography Dr. Dimitrios Xanthidis holds a PhD in electronic information systems (eCommerce) of the field Information Systems from the University College London. With more than 24 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level, and more than 13 years of research experience he is interesting the research areas of eSociety (Social Media), eCommerce/eBusiness, eHealth (and Smart Health), eLearning from the IS side and in Big Data (and Analytics), Cloud Computing, Sensors and IoT from the IT side. Currently teaching at Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai, U.A.E.
