Biography
Saumil Merchant received the B.E. degree in Electronics from Mumbai University, India in 1999,
and the M.S. and PhD. degrees in Computer Engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2003 and 2007 respectively. He is currently a research scientist in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at George Washington University. His research interests include reconfigurable computing, high-performance computing, embedded computing, and machine intelligence. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
