Dr. Magdy, with over 35 years of experience, has been a senior structural engineer for more than 22 years. He has a significant strong experience in mega projects through structural management, analysis, and design. In addition, Dr. Magdy has a powerful academic background as has been a member of the Structural Department staff at Cairo University since 1981. He gained a solid experience in the pre-cast and pre-stressed structures under seismic loading through various studies in the Civil Engineering Department, Lehigh University, PA, USA, as Post Graduated Researcher since 1993 up to 1998.

Dr. Magdy experience records mega projects and special structures in Egypt, Africa, Gulf Region, and USA. This experience lies in extended range of high profile projects including complicated structure buildings, pre-cast and pre-stressed structures, towers, special buildings, industrial buildings, bridges, power plants, waste treatment plants, Metro substations and inter-stations, and strengthening and retrofit of existing hotel and bank branches.
Dr. Magdy has versed awareness of the latest international specifications, codes, and standards issued for structures through his continuous academic studies, through membership in recognized institutes, and through the verity of projects designed in different countries. In addition, he has an intensive experience in most recent structural computer softwares used in analysis for design purposes or academic studies.
