C. R. Zamarreño received the MS degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his Ph. D in Communications from the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) in 2005 and 2009, respectively. he was a visiting scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston,MA, USA) in 2008. In 2007, he become an associate researcher at the UPNA, where he is currently working as a teaching assistant. His main research interests are optical fiber sensors, passive optical devices and their engineering applications.
